The Peranakan Museum is located in the heart of Singapore’s Civic District, and it is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Peranakan community. The museum is housed in a beautifully restored historical building and features exhibits that showcase the Peranakan way of life, including their traditional cuisine, clothing, jewelry, and religious beliefs. Visitors can also see intricate and colorful beaded slippers and beautifully ornate wedding beds, along with many other fascinating artifacts.
