The concept pays tribute to the disappearing open-air food stalls, known as dai pai dongs, that used to be a common sight in Hong Kong. HEY KEE recreates the ambiance of classic Hong Kong with its vintage decor and authentic dishes, offering a nostalgic journey back in time. The restaurant’s interior is designed to evoke the golden era of Hong Kong, featuring vibrant aesthetics and carefully chosen elements such as vintage posters and classic movie icons. The space also includes private rooms with karaoke systems and retro-styled 80s/90s bus stops for waiting guests. The overall atmosphere is enhanced by mosaic floor and wall tiles, as well as live seafood tanks, adding to the venue’s authentic feel.

HEY KEE’s menu features a selection of signature dishes that showcase the authentic flavors of Hong Kong-style cuisine. These include the ‘Typhoon Shelter’ Style Stir Fried Crab, Sautéed Beef Tenderloin with Black Pepper & Potatoes, ‘Temple Street’ Crispy Roast Chicken, Sizzling Kai Lan with Dried Prawns in Claypot, and the Signature Claypot Seafood Porridge.

Overall, HEY KEE aims to offer an immersive and authentic dining experience that encapsulates the nostalgic flavors and iconic street dishes of Hong Kong’s vibrant food scene, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking a taste of 80s Hong Kong in Singapore.
