Marina Barrage is a dam located in the Marina Bay area of Singapore and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. It was built to provide fresh water to the island nation and also to prevent seawater from entering the Marina Reservoir. The barrage is also a popular recreational spot and provides a stunning panoramic view of the city skyline and the ocean.

What makes Marina Barrage interesting is the rooftop terrace that offers a 360-degree view of the surrounding area. Visitors can enjoy a picnic or take a leisurely stroll on the grassy lawns, fly a kite, or simply relax and take in the breathtaking views. The barrage also has a Visitor Centre where visitors can learn about the history of the dam, its function and its significance to the city.

To get to Marina Barrage, visitors can take the MRT to the Marina Bay Station and take a short walk from there. Alternatively, it is also easily accessible by taxi or other modes of public transportation. The barrage is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm and admission is free.
